How to catch the wind?
In my work Flying, Taking, Weathering, I combine the forceful and subtle aspects of the wind. I’m inspired by the symbols used in meteorology; the ways of measuring the intangible. In my installation and video work I explore where movement and stillness meet. How do you relate to a moment in motion? What remains of something that has already passed? When does the wind come to a standstill?
